Our adoption fees start at $150 to $250 usually with personality guarantees, lots of training before placement, current shots and worming, training advice for the life of the dog and free membership in the Dachshund Club of Spokane for one year.

We do ask for a fenced yard and usually children over age 7 for this hunting dog breed to adopt one of our wiener dogs. Now and then we get one that likes kids and cats too, but they are rare. The adoptable wiener dogs do come in all ages, sizes, coats (longhairs, shorthairs and wirehairs) and colors. The web site above shows the currently adopted ones and past adoptees as well.

We have placed 500+ Dachshunds since 1991 with a 94% success rate on our adoptions and all of the reutnrees were rehomed successfully the second time around.. We screen our homes carefully and do cite visits with vet references and we always make sure the dog's personality matches everyone's lifestyles before placement.

We placed 59 in 2008 alone as this breed is being horribly overbred for money but we help rehome as many as possible and turn away 200+ each year for our area alone. Please think twice about breeding another litter that may be dumped in rescue and shelters later on. Thanks.
