I am excited about this week's market! It is Fall for sure now so we are well into our fall and winter vegetables!
* red potatoes
* russett potatoes
* GARLIC both hard neck and soft neck!
* tomatoes
* cucumbers (still a few)
* green tomatoes (you can make delicious Green Tomato Relish and Green Tomato mincemeat with these as well as Fried Green Tomatoes! Yum Yum. Come and pick up your green tomatoes as well as some recipes at the market!)
* herbs
* beets with greens
* Sweet Sweet Carrots (Yes there will be lots this week!)
* Winter Squashs
* Hubbard Squash both blue and Green
* Acorn Squash
* Butternut Squash
* Spaghetti Squash --so delicious and much healthier than pasta!
* Corn (I think --but no promises)
* peppers....
* and more and more and more I never know all the delicious items that people will be harvesting each week!
Please bring your friends and neighbors there will only be three more market days this season after this week!

And remember to sign up for our harvest basket drawing which will be drawn on the final market day, October 28th!
